I thought of posting this blog yesterday, but missed to somehow.
It’s exactly 3 years before, a voyage to US. The trip was good 9 months where we (personally I) enjoyed and loved every bit. A very neat apartment with good neighbors to chitchat at daytime. Weekend outing to some place or other to ponder around.
I love the cakes, variety dishes we prepared together. The walk to FoodMax from home, evening walk with kids are evergreen. We ate together our lunch sharing things prepared. Kayal and Suganya I still remember the first day we traveled in Light Rail to Great Mall. I keep in touch with them still.
I also shouldn’t forget this person, before coming over there I know they are my hubby’s friends. Meera I remember still lunch and dinner at your home. From Homestead you picked us to drop to our apartment the first day.
With lot of new friends and fresh thoughts, the visit was base to my current path. In my free time I watched lot of videos and read books to question on to myself.
Cheers! Alas time ticks faster and faster …

Toy Story 3
Good weekend outing @ new Skywalk.
This one is the second cartoon film with our Jr. It was a 3D film, glass sold at the counter was not for kids. Either she herself or rather me holding the glass for her to watch the movie. We enjoyed every frame of the picture and the world of animation of the movie was really good.
Toys who come to life whenever humans are not present. From the list toys Woody, Jessie and Hamm Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head belongs to Andy. The little boy moves to college and decides to have the toys for himself. Mistakenly the toys were put in trash, escape from there to Sunny Side (Day Care). A bitter experience there, and escaped back to Andy;’s home. Later the toy was given to a pretty girl who was fond of toys.
A well narrated story, but the cartoon story had romance and vilan to hang over. Jr was happier looking at Woody. At times in between the movie she needed a translator to tell her some pixel part, which she couldn’t understand.

Mouth shut
Unusual weekday shopping with Jr yesterday. Went down to Photo Lab to san the RC Paper of the Car, which needs to be submitted for a claim in office. Jr was interested in Cakes, just browsed the nearby Nilgris outlet to get her. Jr's favorite cake was Chocolate icing and only three pieces. She counted all the three saying one for her, one for Aji (bil) and half amma and half appa.
Came home and things were distributed as said. Jr's father was late to home by 10.30. Conversation between them goes like
Jr: Appa, I have surprise for you, guess what it is ..
Father: Gave lot of guess.
Jr: It’s a Choclate cake for you.
Father: Thanks to her with a broad smile.
Jr: 'Ethuku thanks appa sappida kodupathuku, says thanks to ur tummy. Only it makes you hungry and not me.
We both were moth shut and couldn't say anything in reply to her. I just admire her everyday and learn things at times to handle situations.

Yatharth !
This was a forward from my friend + own masala ..
One of the biggest confusion in Spiritual journey is of a Fact and Truth - or, in Hindi, Tathya and Satya.
Mostly, what are decidedly "facts" are peddled and assumed to be "Truths". Then there is a fight over these "Truths", which were never so to begin with.
Truth is reality - the inviolable. There is no two's in that. There is only One "version" and one existence of that "reality".
In Hindi, Truth has a synonym - Yatharth, meaning "That, what is".
If you look closely, only the moment (microsecond) of NOW, fits that definition. This moment, that you are experiencing is One, "That is", Real, Actual, Inviolable, Unavoidable, and Unchangeable. Not your experience of the moment, mind you. But, THE MOMENT.
Once you "experience" the moment with all your baggage, you have given it a color. Then that moment resides in history of your mind IN THAT COLOR. You have your color. Someone else who witnessed and experienced that moment with you, has her/his own color. What resides as past is colored. Tainted. That is never going to come back nor be experienced again. For the moment that you colored and let go, left a small speck of color of its own in your baggage, which will add another color to that moment IF it were to return back.
That moment you left in the past is called "Fact". Fact, as in it happened. That it happened is not in question. But is that a reality? Of course not. Reality is that which is REAL. Not that has been "editorialized" by the baggage of your past.
"Facts" thus are the product of earlier "Facts". There is no "reality" or originality to them.
What has not happened - the Future - is just a conjecture. Past is a "Fact" - colored as it is. Present.. the Now..(the Moment, not its experience) is the only Reality. The only "That, What is".. the Yatharth!

Short Story ..
Once Buddha was walking from one town to another town with a few of his followers. This was in the initial days. While they were traveling, they happened to pass a lake. They stopped there and Buddha told one of his disciples, “I am thirsty. Do get me some water from that lake there.”
The disciple walked up to the lake. When he reached it, he noticed that right at that moment, a bullock cart started crossing through the lake. As a result, the water became very muddy, very turbid. The disciple thought, “How can I give this muddy water to Buddha to drink!” So he came back and told Buddha, “The water in there is very muddy. I don’t think it is fit to drink.” After about half an hour, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back to the lake and get him some water to drink. The disciple obediently went back to the lake. This time he found that the lake had absolutely clear water in it. The mud had settled down and the water above it looked fit to be had. So he collected some water in a pot and brought it to Buddha. Buddha looked at the water, and then he looked up at the disciple and said,
“See what you did to make the water clean. You let it be…. and the mud settled down on its own – and you got clear water. Your mind is also like that! When it is disturbed, just let it be. Give it a little time. It will settle down on its own. You don’t have to put in any effort to calm it down. It will happen. It is effortless.”
What did Buddha emphasize here? He said, “It is effortless.” Having ‘Peace of Mind’ is not a strenuous job; it is an effortless process!
Also remember that you could be in very peaceful surroundings, where everything is wonderfully beautiful, but if you’re inside is disturbed, then that beauty is of no use to you. It does not mean anything to you. For you to be peaceful, peace has to be generated from deep within you - from your being to the mind, and from the mind to the environment.
When there is peace inside, that peace permeates to the outside. It spreads around you and in the environment, such that people around start feeling that peace and grace.
